Next week could bring new highs and lows in fuel prices

Fuel price rises next week

SIC accounts

It is expected that, starting next Monday, fuel prices oscillate again. Accounts made by SIC, based on the most up-to-date data on market closures of Thursdaypredict that diesel will fall by one and a half cents and that gasoline will rise by four cents per liter.

The predictions are made with data from the closing of markets this Thursday, based on which gas stations will define the prices to be applied. This Friday, the markets are still operating and the Brent barrel price remains very high.

If the predictions come true, the Tax on Petroleum and Energy Products (ISP) should fall in the case of gasoline and rise in the case of diesel.

With the increase of four cents, gasoline is once again above two euros per liter. In the case of diesel oil, one liter should be 1,95 euros.

If the predictions are confirmed, in general terms, fill a 50-liter tank should cost 97 euros in the case of diesel and almost 101 euros no matter it gives gasoline.
