Civil Defense of SP issued a warning of heavy rain and intense winds in several regions of the state
The weekend should be marked by lots of rain in much of the country. According to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), for Saturday (23) and Sunday (24), the forecast is storms in the South and Southeast regions and of intense precipitation in part of the North and Northeast states.
For this Saturday, according to Inmet’s forecast, the expectation is that the conditions for rain showers with thunderstorms will intensify in the Southeast and South, with most significant accumulations for the state of São Paulo and the coast of Santa Catarinawhere the rain should be persistent. It should also rain heavily in the Northeast and North, with most significant accumulations in the south of Bahia.
Not Sunday, Rain showers are forecast across the entire coast of São Paulo and the Itapetininga regionin the interior of São Paulo. In addition to north of Maranhão and east of Bahia. O south of Minas Geraisin turn, will have isolated rains. In the Midwest, rain will be restricted to the extreme south of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Cyclone
For Monday (25), Inmet predicts storms across the South of the country because of the formation of a cyclone.
In the Southeast, showers are forecast for the south and west of São Pauloin addition to isolated blows to the Paraíba Valleyin eastern Minas Gerais and in the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo. The rain will also hit the south-central Mato Grosso do Sul and the northwest of Mato Grosso.
Furthermore, weak and isolated rains are planned for the entire northeast coastwith more intensity in Maranhão and Recôncavo Baiano. In the North, the rains spread throughout the Amazon and persist in Pará, Roraima and Amapá.
