The judge remanded the foreigner suspected of the March attack on the armory in Pardubice to custody

The judge sent to custody a foreigner linked to the March attack on the armory in Pardubice. He faces charges of terrorism and membership in a terrorist group.

On Thursday, the judge of the Pardubice District Court remanded a foreigner who was detained by the security forces on Wednesday in connection with the March attack on the LPP Holding armory. He decided on his detention on all three grounds for detention. The Czech police informed about it on platform X, writes TASR.

In addition to the latest suspect, who was accused of a terrorist attack and participation in a terrorist group, the police detained a total of ten people as part of the investigation of this case, not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in Poland and Bulgaria.

Detained in several countries

A fire broke out in an industrial complex in Pardubice on March 20. The hall in which the fire started belongs to the Czech arms company LPP Holding, which also produces drones for Ukraine. The attack was claimed by the previously unknown group The Earthquake Faction, which claims that its aim was to destroy the “epicenter of the Israeli arms industry” in Europe. LPP Holding has repeatedly emphasized that it does not produce anything for Israel.
