According to the SSP, military police officers found Hilde Ann Lynn dead inside one of the rooms at the Rosewood hotel.
One American guest40 years old, was found dead in a Rosewood luxury hotel on Sunday afternoon (31). The hotel in question is located on Rua Itapeva, in Bela Vista, in the center of the city of São Paulo.
According to the state’s Public Security Secretariat (SSP), military police were called to respond to the incident and, at the scene, they were informed that the victim had been found inside one of the rooms.
In a statement, the hotel confirmed the case involving the guest identified as Hilde Ann Lynn. Rosewood reported that it has collaborated with the authorities responsible for the investigation since the incident was discovered and that it promptly provided the requested information to assist in investigating what happened.
The administration added that it will not comment on additional details “out of respect for the privacy of the guest, her family and the work of the responsible authorities”.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was activated and confirmed death at the scene. “Exams were requested from the Criminalistics Institute (IC) and the Legal Medical Institute (IML)”, he said.
The case was registered as suspicious death by the 78th DP (Jardins). Investigations are underway to help clarify the facts.
