The Minister of Finance, Dario Durigan, said this Monday, June 1st, that the government should soon conclude internal conversations and with financial institutions about the new stage of the Desenrola program, aimed at renegotiating debts owed by defaulters.
In an interview with the SBT News channel, Durigan stated that the idea is to prevent people from falling into default due to very high interest rates on their debts.
“We want to help them continue paying,” explained the Finance Minister, without providing further details about the measure.
