The organization of the LGBT+ Pride Parade is promoting a debate this Thursday (4) on the use of and harm reduction in the LGBT population.
The conversation, which takes place at the 25th LGBT+ Diversity and Entrepreneurship Cultural Fair, will feature state deputy Guilherme Cortez (PSOL-SP), former federal deputy and pre-candidate for the same position Jean Wyllys (PT), doctor and influencer Uno Vulpo, author of the Sento.Even profile, and psychologist Maria Angélica Comis, a specialist in the area of harm reduction.
The debate will be mediated by journalist Filipe Vilicic, from the podcast Saindo da Estufa and editor of the online magazine Breeza, who also helps produce the fair’s debates.
Cortez, this year’s pre-candidate for federal deputy, is also this week’s interviewee for Breeza, a magazine specializing in topics related to .
In the interview, he talks about his use of medicinal cannabis to deal with anxiety and insomnia in the first year of his term, his defense of the legalization of the substance and how he sees his friends who use marijuana.
“We need to move forward with the debate on the decriminalization of marijuana, especially in the National Congress. This gap that has opened up in relation to medicinal cannabis is the main advance that we have made over the last few decades in society’s awareness regarding the issue of drugs”, says Cortez.
The meeting, with free entry, will take place in Vale do Anhangabaú, in the center of São Paulo, from 12:30 pm, and opens the debates on LGBT+ themes at the Diversity and Entrepreneurship Cultural Fair.
