Influencer from Paraná posted images of a supposed ship on his property
The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) issued a statement this Wednesday (3) taking a stance on what was posted by an influencer in Campo Largo, Paraná, on Sunday (31). The note, issued through the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA), denies that any object has been identified by radar or reported by local airports.
DECEA further stated that the airspace control did not record any problems with the equipment on the night of the alleged sighting.
“The Brazilian Air Force (FAB), through the Airspace Control Department (DECEA), informs that, on May 31, no object was identified by air defense radars or reported by local airports with information of unknown objects. Airspace control occurred within normal limits”, claimed the corporation.
Sighting
The supposed sighting of an unidentified flying object was shared by influencer Mayk Leão, on his Instagram profile. The shared recordings were made in the rural area of Campo Largo, showing flashing lights on top of a hill where, according to him, there is no civilization. With the images, the man reported that there was heard aircraft flying over the airspace near his home during the day and a different sound, similar to a growl.
The influencer also reported that the animals he raises on his farm were very agitated and noticed the fallen electric fence. In the caption of one post, Mayk described the sound as similar to an “insect or finger snap.” He further stated that the same aircraft later passed over his house with the lights off and, in one of the videos, he said that he experienced “something extraordinary”.
