First lady again publishes videos of the president exercising; PT member wants to show that he is in good health at age 80
The first lady used her Instagram profile this Thursday (June 4, 2026) to show the president (PT), 80 years old, exercising during the Corpus Christi holiday. “Holiday this weekend”wrote the first lady while Lula appears running on a treadmill.
In another video, Lula is doing an ankle mobility and strengthening exercise. “For those who doubt the execution, now challenging the stability of the ankle”wrote Janja.
The first lady has a habit of publishing videos of Lula exercising on her Instagram profile. In addition to showing his followers a bit of his routine, the videos also signal to voters that the president is taking care of his health.
One of Lula’s goals when running for re-election and seeking a 4th term is to show that he is in good health. Videos of him exercising or during commitments are often shared on social media linked to the president. He will be 81 years old after the 2nd round of elections.
