Munich – Munich Airport ceased operations on Sunday evening. “The tower at Munich Airport was evacuated at 8:33 p.m. due to the smell of fire,” the airport writes on its website. “German air traffic control has stopped flight operations until further notice.” The German Federal Police told the dpa that the situation was still unclear. The fire department is checking the situation. It is not a fire, there are no flames coming out.
