Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened the security council after US President Donald Trump announced that the US and Iran would sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday aimed at ending the war.
Israel’s security council meeting is scheduled for Sunday evening, with the subject of the terms of the possible agreement between Washington and Tehran, as reported by Israeli media.
Top Israeli officials reportedly said Saturday that the terms of the memorandum “jeopardize Israel’s security interests” and that Washington had accepted “key terms” from Tehran, according to a Channel 12 report.
