Judge Peinado’s decision to withdraw Begoña Gómez’s passport and send her to trial confirms the persecution, obsession and disproportion of this magistrate, according to sources from the Moncloa Palace consulted by the EFE Agency. The sources add that Judge Peinado’s instruction lacks any legal meaning and only addresses political reasons. In an order released this Saturday, and has established as precautionary measures the withdrawal of the passport, it prohibits him from leaving the national territory and stipulates a biweekly appearance in court. The PSOE has reaffirmed that Begoña Gómez “is innocent” and that she is being “judicially persecuted.”
