Tarcísio Government transfers R$ 287 million to Greater SP – 06/24/2026 – Panel

The Government of São Paulo transferred R$287 million to municipalities in the metropolitan region of São Paulo in the first half of this year. The resources supplied places such as Guarulhos, Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, Diadema, São Caetano do Sul, Mogi das Cruzes and Ribeirão Pires.

Since the beginning of the mandate, in January 2023, the Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) administration has recorded investments of R$824.5 million in agreements for urban infrastructure works in the metropolitan region.

Interventions include slope containment, urbanization, paving, in addition to the construction of sports and educational equipment, for a total population in the region of 21 million inhabitants.

Tarcísio, who will run for re-election this year, has sought to strengthen relations with mayors, whose support is seen as strategic for the campaign.
