The 18th edition of the Slovak Woman of the Year readers’ poll culminated on Friday with a gala evening at the Slovak Philharmonic. During the festive evening in Bratislava’s Reduta, 12 bronze statuettes were handed over. The winner of the art and culture category is actress Hana Gregorová.

As the heat is brutal in Slovakia, even a well-known actress had to decide what to wear to somehow withstand it. It was an event where dresses and gowns are a must. “I am leaving for the Slovak Woman of the Year gala, where I was nominated. I took the lightest dress that is… Now I just put it in the car like this, this won’t be there, of course, I have a sequined belt to go with it. And the pumps… now I have flip-flops on my feet, I change them there,” she showed how she made it easier to move in a dress in a video on Facebook. The star of the series Sľub a Dunaj, at your service is known for the fact that she knows how to dress beautifully and cheaply, and she does not lag behind when it comes to makeup and creating social hairstyles. She did everything herself this time too, and the result was breathtaking. “And my good friend Klárka wanted me to come to her place in the afternoon, that she would paint me and teach me. But in this heat, it doesn’t exist, so I painted myself and did my hair myself. So I’m going there, I’m nominated in the Slovak Woman of the Year category in the arts – probably for cooking (laughs).” she pointed out, meaning her cooking talent. During the filming of the series, he supplies his colleagues with goodies from the invention of the world. He honestly bakes everything at home.

In the heat, it was also an art in itself to get to the gala unscathed. “But I’m as warm as if I baked ten strudel ovens. So keep your fingers crossed, I really appreciate it, but I repeat, as I said, whether it’s because I should already be practicing chest jumps” she joked before leaving.

After the gala evening, she gave sincere words to her fans. “I got it for work, which is my hobby, and I’m happy that I can still spin, that the head works. But the women, the scientists, the charities they do, and the doctors, I bow down deeply,” the star actress said.
