The CAPACITAR project, promoted by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira, has already contributed to the development of the professional and personal skills of 350 people in the Algarve region since its beginning, in 2024.
Funded by the Algarve 2030 Regional Program, within the scope of Portugal 2030 and with the support of the European Union, the project aims to promote the qualification of adults through certified and free training actions.
According to Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira, CAPACITAR aims not only to transmit technical knowledge, but also to promote employability, social inclusion and confidence among participants.
The institution also emphasizes that the initiative seeks to “value their CVs and ensure greater preparation and adaptation to the constant challenges of the job market and the local community”.
Free training aimed at employed and unemployed adults
The project is aimed at adults aged 18 or over, whether they are employed or unemployed.
The training actions available within the scope of CAPACITAR aim to respond to the needs of the adult population and contribute to the creation of new personal and professional opportunities in the Algarve.
