The Republican already claimed during the election campaign that he could end the war in Ukraine “within one day”and possibly even before assuming the office of president. So far, he has not explained how he would achieve this.
According to the media, Trump already spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday after the victory in the US presidential elections. Since then, according to his words, he has spoken with approximately 70 world leaders. Billionaire Elon Musk is said to have joined the phone call with Zelensky. According to Axios, Trump told the Ukrainian leader that he would continue to support Kyiv, but did not go into details. This conversation was allegedly reassuring for Zelensky.
