Los Angeles – The death toll from the fires in and around Los Angeles has risen to at least 16, according to official figures. The latest number of victims comes from a list published by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Department on Saturday (local time). Five bodies were found in and around the Pacific Palisades district and eleven in and around the suburb of Pasadena. So far, the authorities had assumed a total of eleven deaths.
