The Minister of Finance, stated this Friday (November 29, 2024) that the government will send to Congress, later this year, a proposal to tax big techs. He said that companies will be “disciplined”but did not detail how this will be done nor did it inform the date on which the project will be presented to the Legislature.

In an interview with RecordHaddad also once again criticized the former president’s management (PL) for not regulating the activities of bets, the so-called betting houses.

“For years, during past governments, we did not charge bet tax. Which is something I don’t even like. I don’t like this thing. The government kept the bets for 4 years without paying 1 cent in tax.
