This Thursday, December 12th, another ‘Goucha’ aired, a TVI program led by Manuel Luís Goucha.
One of the guests on today’s broadcast was Eliane, a 7-year-old girl who was present with her parents, as she was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor in the central nervous system.
As the cancer is inoperable in Portugal, the girl’s parents were present to appeal for help, as they learned of a clinic in Germany that operates on this type of tumor.
At a certain point, and because Eliane’s mother revealed that her daughter’s dream is to go to Disneyland Paris, Manuel Luís Goucha decided to surprise the little girl at the end of the conversation: “Eliane, be okay, okay? So you can go to Euro Disney later. I offer you the trip to Euro Disney! But first you have to be okay, okay? Then I talk to the mother, I talk to the father and everyone goes to Disney (…). As soon as you can travel, I will offer you the trip, agreed?”he said, hugging the guest immediately.
