Actress and former politician Kateřina Lojdová is known to the audience mainly thanks to the role of engineer Gábina Tejfarová in the cult comedy Sun, hay and a pair of faces. She celebrated her 63rd birthday in March, which means she is eligible for a pension.
Many of her colleagues, despite their old age, are still working because the amount of their pension would not be enough for them to live on. As she states, she does not have such a problem.
“Everyone talks about me as an actress, but for me it was just a five-year episode. I have been employed all my life, I taught, worked in the Chamber of Deputies, ran a business and always paid my health and social insurance properly. I’ve never paid the minimum or cheated in any way and now it’s coming back to me. I don’t have an extra big pension, a lower average, but that’s just the way it is,” she revealed.
Lojdová married former radio manager Michel Fleischmannwith whom she has twins – Max and Klara. He has been working in France as an ambassador since 2020, and his wife left with him, but they lived through really turbulent times.
“Covid, the French presidency of the EU and immediately after the Czech one, the war in Ukraine, Israel, the Olympics and the Paralympics in the summer. Now, after returning, I have a chance to breathe a little and relax,” added the former actress, who today I continue to work as a psychotherapist.
