Taraba confirmed Serbia’s support in Baku. Vučič thanked Slovakia for its clear stance on territorial integrity

In Baku, Serbian President Vučič thanked Slovakia for supporting Serbia on its way to the EU. He talked with Šimon Tarab about large investments and green projects.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučič met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and Minister of the Environment Tomáš Tarab on the occasion of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan. He thanked him for Slovakia’s support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and for supporting his journey to the European Union, TASR reports, according to a report by the TANJUG agency.

“I discussed with Tomáš Tarab the further strengthening of Serbian-Slovak relations, as well as opportunities for the development of cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, environmental protection, energy and sustainable urban development,” said Vučič after the meeting with the Slovak minister.

Invitation for the Slovak Prime Minister

Vučič added that he had handed over an invitation to visit Serbia to the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico. “I am convinced that in the coming period we will further strengthen our political and economic ties and implement important joint projects,” added the Serbian president.
