The first group gave more loans last year and brought more deposits into the house than in 2023 and its net profit below the bottom line by 4.3 percent to 3.1 billion euros. Especially in the banks subsidiaries in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) it went uphill: As Bank boss Peter Bosek explained in a broadcast on Friday morning, two thirds of the profit come from this region.
