Vienna-The super election year 2024 has brought new occupations to the decision-making bodies at state, federal and EU level. The National Council recorded a decline in the quota of women in the past year, for the first time since 2008. In no nine state parliament there is parity between the sexes, the past elections strengthened this fact. The newly elected Austrian delegation to the EU Parliament consists of eight women and twelve men.
