The governor of Minas Gerais, (Novo), confirmed on Wednesday (2) that he will participate in an act on Paulista Avenue at the weekend convened by former president () in favor of amnesty to those involved in the scammer demonstrations of 8 January.
Zema was not in the demonstration called by A, in which the governors Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), from São Paulo, Claudio Castro (PL), from Rio de Janeiro, Jorginho Mello (PL), from Santa Catarina, and Mauro Mendes (União Brasil), from Mato Grosso.
“I will be in Sao Paulo next Sunday, at 14h, I am in favor of amnesty,” said the governor in an interview with journalists in Brasilia after attending an event of the sugar and alcohol sector.
Zema, quoted as presidential in next year’s elections, has made public gestures to approach Bolsonaro in recent weeks.
