Ronaildo dos Santos Nunes, 39, was killed, and Fagner Braga de Lima, 27, was seriously injured with a head shot on Thursday night after an attack attributed to a criminal organization. The crimes occurred at two different addresses: one in a distributor in the university ensemble and one at Rua Padre Paulino, in Rui Lino, in Rio Branco.
According to witnesses, Ronaildo was at his residence, located at the back of a distributor, when three criminals arrived in two motorcycles. They hid guns inside the helmets and, as they approached the house, pulled on their weapons and fired at least five shots, hitting the victim’s chest and abdomen. After the action, the trio fled at high speed. Preliminary information indicates that a dark -colored vehicle also supported the execution.

Friends put Ronaildo in a neighbors’ car and led him to the Rio Branco emergency room. He was admitted to very serious and died minutes later, still in the trauma sector of the unit.
The second attack, attributed to the same criminals, took place on Padre Paulino Street, in Rui Lino. The trio, still in two motorcycles, paired with a black Saveiro model vehicle, and fired a shot on Fagner’s head. Even injured, he managed to go to a roundabout, collided with a signplate and stopped about 100 meters later. When trying to ask for help, he opened the car door and fell on the public road. After the crime, the attackers fled again.

Residents who heard the shots ran to help the victim and called the Military Police and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). A basic support ambulance made the first calls, followed by an advanced support, which stabilized the victim and referred it to the Rio Branco emergency room. Fagner is still hospitalized in a very serious condition.

The Military Police isolated the area where the Saveiro vehicle was for the work of the expertise. After the procedures, the car was released.

Police from the 1st Battalion searched the region, but the perpetrators have not yet been found. The case will be investigated initially by the Civil Police Recent Team (EPE) and, later, passed on to the Homicide and Personnel Protection Police Station (DHPP).
