President of the Senate wants restricted text and opposition charges broad text to benefit Bolsonaro
The president of the House of Representatives, said in conversation with the Young Pan who debated with the president of the Senate, on Tuesday (9), the theme of amnesty to arrested and convicted of attempted coup d’état on January 8, 2023. But leaders close to the president bet that matter should not advance after opposition pressure to unlock the subject. The alcohubre proposal would be more restricted, and would benefit only those who depredated the buildings of the three powers under guidance. They would be forgiven of accusations of attempted coup and attempted abolition to the Democratic Rule of Law.
On September 7, parliamentarians who support former President Jair Bolsonaro, including Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, spoke asking the text to be the Senate or House agenda as soon as possible.
In a message the alcohubre, Flavio said that the ideal amnesty should be wide, general, unrestricted and immediate and “there is no half amysty.” For alcohubre allies, the pressure has the opposite effect on the president of the House and the discussion must remain under the responsibility of the mayor, Hugo Motta.
The Government leader in the National Congress, Randolfe Rodrigues of the PT, stressed that David Alcolumbre does not usually give in to blackmail or intimidation and that even the proposal that intended to reduce penalties of those who degraded the buildings of the three powers, may be threatened. Randolfe said that “the more hit Alcolumbre it takes, the more he remains with his body firm.”
