Deputy was accused of collaborating with American sanctions to the Brazilian economy
The revocation process against the federal deputy (PL-SP) will be opened on Tuesday (23), at the House Ethics Council. The inquiry was requested by the leader of the PT, (RJ), by the performance of the former president’s son, collaborating for sanctions to be imposed on the Brazilian economy.
“We will open the process tomorrow and raffle the triple list of candidates for the rapporteur. Then I must choose the names,” said Ethics Council Chairman Fabio Schiochet (Union-SC).
The rapporteur may make an opinion for the cassation or ask for a milder punishment, such as suspension or written censorship. The chosen deputy may not be of the PL, party of the accused, or the PT, party of the complainant.
The Attorney General’s Office denounced the deputy in an inquiry into coercion of the Brazilian judiciary. Both processes have no relationship. For PGR and PT leader Eduardo would have worked with the government to also sanction authorities of the judiciary as a reprisal to the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
