The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Márcio Macêdo, classified as a “political siege” a. The speech was given on Friday (26) at a news conference at the Planalto Palace.

“I have no personal project, I have a collective project. I was a federal deputy in the last election and I did not go to reelection to help coordinate the election of President Lula. My project is the reelection of President Lula. If I will compete, he will define,” said Macêdo.
The minister reaffirmed that he had no conversations with Lula about a possible exchange in charge of the General Secretariat of the Presidency.
“The president never dealt with me about departure from the ministry and I recognize that he takes and puts the time he wants, I have no problem about it (…) is in the field of political gossip this for me, we will continue to work and help President Lula.”
