Defense department sees tenders for construction projects “in the schedule”

New tanks, new helicopters, new jets: Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) invests vigorously in the army. It is said to have around 17 billion euros for this until 2032. In order to buy successors for the Eurofighter and rocket defense systems as part of Sky Shield, further special budgets are planned.
