In Central Slovakia there may be a dense fog on Saturday morning and afternoon. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) issued a 1st degree alert in this context. It is valid until 10.00 am for the districts of Banská Bystrica, Zvolen, Detva, Žiar nad Hronom, Žarnovica and Banská Štiavnica. “In these districts, there is rarely expected to occur with a view of 50-200 m,” meteorologists pointed out in the alert issued.
