Hamas called on US President Donald Trump and Arab, Islamic and international parties to force the Israeli government to “fully implement the requirements of the agreement” and not allow the Israelis to avoid or delay the implementation of what was agreed, in a note sent this Thursday.
“Hamas announces that it has reached an agreement that stipulates the end of the war in Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation, the entry of aid and an exchange of prisoners”, he says, highlighting that the objective is to achieve “the end of the genocide” against our Palestinian people and the withdrawal of the occupation of the Gaza Strip. In the text, the group thanks the efforts of the mediating countries, Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye, as well as those of Trump.
Furthermore, Hamas states that the people’s sacrifices “will not be in vain”. “We will remain true to our commitment and will not abandon the national rights of our people: to achieve freedom, independence and self-determination.”
