“We all go through moments that make us reflect and grow. I recently experienced a situation that made me look inside, recognize attitudes that do not represent who I want to be and the type of relationship I want to build”, wrote Vini Jr. in a text published in stories.

The Real Madrid striker also made a point of praising Virginia, with whom he had a brief relationship in recent months. “Virginia is an incredible woman, an admirable mother and someone for whom I have enormous affection and respect. Since we met, she has been to Madrid three times to see me, leaving her routine, her commitments and her life just to be with me”, said the player.
In the message, the athlete acknowledged that he did not act in the best way. “I’m not ashamed to admit that I was careless, I didn’t respond in the best way and I disappointed her,” he said. He also reinforced that he intends to start over with more maturity: “The idea now is to reset everything. No lies, no fights, no masks. With lots of love, affection and respect.”
The apology came days after the LeoDias portal publish prints of intimate conversations between Vini Jr. and other women, while he was still in contact with Virginia. The case gained great repercussion on social media and would have been the reason for the end of the affair.
Virginia, in turn, also commented on the episode in a recent public appearance, during a Grande Rio rehearsal. When asked about the player, she was direct: “It was a disappointment”, limiting herself to saying that she did not speak to the athlete again after the controversies.
