The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, asked the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Claudius Castro, support the PL (bill) of the persistent debtor – which tightens rules against companies that deliberately evade tax to make a profit. The speech took place in an interview with a journalist in São Paulo this Friday (31).
Haddad charged the governor with mobilizing his party’s bench, the PL, in support of the issue, especially the parliamentarians from Rio de Janeiro. in the Chamber of Deputies on Thursday (30).
“And most of them are in Rio de Janeiro. So we need the governor’s support,” he said.
