In one of the videos released by the state government of Rio de Janeiro, it is possible to see Corporal Oliveira, from Bope (Special Police Operations Battalion) injured in the left thigh after being shot during an exchange of fire with members of the Red Command.
Colleagues work to protect the life of the injured police officer in the Alemão forest area. During a tense moment, one of the officers states ““The armored vehicle doesn’t go up here, we’re going to have to go down with it”.

Megaoperation
The operation involved the participation of 2,500 Civil and Military Police officers. In total, 121 people died, including 117 suspects and four police officers.. 113 individuals were arrested and 120 weapons were seized, 93 of which were rifles. The loss to organized crime is estimated at R$12.8 million.
