“We elect weak men and women, who are on their knees to the Judiciary. Today, the one who legislates, unfortunately, is the Judiciary. Everyone is watching because they approve it in Congress and the Judiciary overturns it”he stated.
The statements were made during participation in a PL Mulher event in Sorriso (MT). Michelle continued with the criticism and said there was a “climate of fear and intimidation that the Judiciary tried to impose on Brazilian families”. The former first lady also advocated greater participation in politics for the event’s participants.
“People need to understand that their cooking gas goes through the National Congress. It’s public security, it’s that mother who lost her son in the robbery, took her cell phone and stabbed her son. That’s about it. We need to understand that all these issues that impact our lives go through Congress and the most powerful weapon we have in our hands is the vote. And that’s enough, no more bargaining chips, no more negotiating your vote”he declared.

CRITIQUES OF JANJA
Without mentioning First Lady Janja Lula da Silva, the wife of the former president (PL) said it was necessary “not spending taxpayer money without responsibility”. She made a comparison between her performance and Janja’s. Here is what he declared:
“I was first lady, dedicated to working. Unfortunately, others are only dedicated to wasting taxpayers’ money on trips, but I can tell you that, as first lady, I worked every day of my life to give visibility to the deaf community, to work for the people who needed it most, to raise awareness on the issue of rare diseases in Brazil, to take care of our atypical mothers. The mothers who care, and how many things we did.
“Just to give you an idea: I’m not going to talk about everything we did, because my agenda was transversal to all ministries and there we had ministers, technicians, managers and those with broken hearts, and there we managed to do a lot for these people. Being president of the Pátria Voluntária program, how much help arrived in the riverside communities, in the municipalities, how much help arrived in the NGOs.
“I can tell you that through our work alone, we managed to invest R$5.7 billion in treatment, in pharmacotechniques to care for people with rare diseases. Whoever wants to do it.”
Michelle the government of (PT). “Our nation is rich, it is just being mismanaged and we will no longer accept it”these.
