American actress Angelina Jolie arrived in the Ukrainian city of Kherson. According to photos on social networks, she visited local medical facilities, including a maternity hospital and a children’s hospital, writes TASR based on Wednesday’s report by the RBC Ukraine agency.
RBC Ukraine sources close to the organizers of Jolie’s trip claim that the actress went to see the conditions of the treated patients and spoke with doctors and mothers in the maternity ward. Her visit is part of a humanitarian program aimed at supporting medical facilities in war-affected regions.
Jolie visited Ukraine shortly after the start of the Russian invasion. At the end of April 2022, she arrived in Lviv, where she met with displaced persons from the Donetsk region and local volunteers.
