Quick corks for the Christmas table. Make it for Christmas or New Year's Eve

These are impressive and at the same time easy to prepare noodles with herbal butter it is the perfect snack for Christmas, Christmas parties or elegant New Year’s Eve parties. A crunchy rye bread base, fresh cucumber and delicate salmon create the perfect composition of flavors. The whole thing is topped with olive and a bit of dill. They look beautiful and taste even better.

To prepare the dumplings, you will need:

  • 6 slices of rye bread,
  • 70 g smoked salmon,
  • 12 green olives,
  • 1 green cucumber,
  • 100 g of butter at room temperature,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • salt and pepper
  • a few sprigs of dill,
  • a few sprigs of parsley.

Cut out two circles from each slice of bread using a cutter, glass or shot glass. Place them on a tray or platter.

Chop the dill and parsley very finely. Leave some dill for decoration. Press the garlic through a press. Combine everything with butter, season with salt and pepper. Mix until you obtain a smooth, aromatic paste.

Apply a portion of butter to each bread circle – with a spoon or with a bag if you want to achieve a decorative effect. Cut the cucumber into thin slices, there should be 12 of them. Cut the salmon into small pieces. Drain the olives from the brine.

Place a thin slice of cucumber, salmon and olive on each buttered slice. Insert sticks or toothpicks into the herbal butter.

Decorate everything with a bit of dill.
