Berlin – Former CDU leader and Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer is the new chairwoman of the party-affiliated Konrad Adenauer Foundation. At a general meeting, she prevailed in a first-round vote against the influential Bundestag member Günter Krings, as a foundation spokesman told the German Press Agency.
