London – Arsenal defended their lead in the English Premier League with a home win on Saturday. The “Gunners” defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 and thus fended off the attack from Manchester City in first place. The league rival had recently celebrated a 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest. Coach Pep Guardiola’s second-placed team is still two points behind Arsenal.
