Rome – A painting of an angel in a church in Rome bears the features of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, causing a stir in Italy. The resemblance to the 49-year-old right-wing conservative politician has only existed since the mural was restored, reports the daily newspaper La Repubblica (paywall). Previously, the angel in the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Lucina looked like an ordinary putto.
