Gaza – Because Palestinians are said to have fired shots at Israeli soldiers in the north of the Gaza Strip, Israel’s army says it has carried out several attacks in the area. The Hamas-controlled health authority in the Gaza Strip reported at least 18 deaths in the entire coastal area from Israeli shelling since early morning. The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas therefore remains fragile.
