Rome/Addis Ababa – Italy has been invited as an observer to the meeting of the so-called “Board of Peace”, the “Peace Council” of US President Donald Trump, in Washington and is expected to accept the invitation. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said this to Italian journalists on the sidelines of a visit to the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, as media reported. This would make Italy the first major EU country to get involved in the Peace Council.
