Tehran/Moscow – One day after the Strait of Hormuz was temporarily closed to cargo traffic due to exercises by the Revolutionary Guards, Iran announced joint maneuvers with Russia in the maritime area. On Thursday, the navies of both countries would practice operations in the Gulf of Oman and the northern Indian Ocean, the Iranian Fars news agency reported.
