The popular character of Magda Koptíková came to an unexpected end after the Nazis executed her in front of the employees of the department store as a warning. The photographer helped the anti-fascist resistance and managed to obtain secret plans for the attacks.
She paid for it with her life, and actress Monika Szabó, who played Magda, ended up in tears. “You can’t play some characters. Some survive. Magda was one of them. Her end was cruel, but true to the time she lived in. She doesn’t choose war – and that was the strongest part of her story. Thank you for every single day on the set, for your professionalism and humanity. And for all the hugs that weren’t just acting,” Szabó wrote on the social network, saying that Magda from the series is leaving, but everything they created together will remain in her forever.
The fictional story captured the hearts of viewers, who flooded social networks with their opinions and references. I quite enjoy it, because in my essence, somewhere inside me, I am also such a pure tomboy, so I was able to relax absolutely in it.
