Quick no-bake Oreo cake. Make it for an afternoon tea with coffee

Preparing a home-made cake for a beginner confectioner is quite a challenge. If you don’t have much experience in this field, a good solution to start with is: recipes for simple cakes without baking. One of the most delicious suggestions is Oreo cake inspired by one of the most popular shortcrust cookies that are loved not only by children. This dessert is perfect as an afternoon treat with your favorite coffee or tea.

To prepare the mass that will serve as the top and bottom of the cake, you will need:

  • 100 g of butter,
  • 250 g Oreo cookies (only the dark part will be needed).

Ingredients for the mass:

  • 300 g of cream 36%,
  • 250 g mascarpone,
  • 20 ml of milk,
  • 20 g of powdered sugar,
  • the rest of the Oreo cookies (white cream).

Decoration:

Start with the chocolate mass. Separate the dark part of the Oreo cookies from the cream and place it in a blender. Crumble until the consistency resembles crumble. You can also place the cookies in a sealed bag intended for food products and crush them using a pestle or a rolling pin.

Melt the butter in a small pot. Pair with chocolate cookies. Mix thoroughly. Line a round baking tin with baking paper. Put half of the prepared crumble on the bottom. Press well, especially around the edges. Place the mold in the refrigerator.

Now proceed to prepare the mass. Place the white part of the Oreos with the milk in a small pot. Combine the ingredients and set aside to cool. Mix the mascarpone with powdered sugar until smooth. Add Oreo cookie cream. Mix briefly.

Whip the cooled cream until stiff. Put a spoonful of whipped cream into the mascarpone with Oreo cream, mix lightly and pour everything into the whipped foam. Mix briefly. If you still have any Oreo cookies left, you can add them crushed to the mixture. Spread the cream onto the cooled Oreo cookie base. Pour the remaining chocolate crumble on top.

Place the cake in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up.
