Minister calls the action an “atrocity at sea” and says that a ship with 130 sailors was hit in international waters
Iran’s Foreign Minister, stated this Thursday (March 5, 2026) that the United States committed a “atrocity at sea” in international waters near Sri Lanka.
According to Araghchi, the ship was participating in naval activities with the Indian Navy and was carrying around 130 sailors when it was hit. The was made in a publication on the social network X.
