The District Court of Trnava took into custody Patrik from the district of Galanta, accused of a particularly serious crime of murder. This is the husband of a 35-year-old woman, mother of twins Nikoleta, who died as a result of the injuries she suffered after a violent attack. This follows from the information provided to TASR by the spokesperson of the Trnava courts, Jana Kondákorová.

“The pre-trial judge of the Trnava District Court took the accused into custody out of reasonable concern, that he might be hiding or fleeing to avoid prosecution, as he faces a high penalty if found guilty, and also out of fear that he would continue to commit criminal activity,” the spokeswoman added, adding that the court’s decision is final.
The police received a notification about an incident in one of the villages of the Galant district on Sunday (March 8) evening. The police officers performed urgent and unrepeatable actions at the scene of the crime, the necessary procedural actions. Several expert evidences are being conducted in the matter with the aim of properly clarifying the case.
Trnava regional investigator charged a 38-year-old man from Galanta County with the particularly serious crime of murder on Tuesday (10. 3.).
