Vienna – Former Environment Minister and Green Party leader Leonore Gewessler will not be charged with the Constitutional Court (VfGH) because of the stop to the Lobau Tunnel and other projects announced during her term of office. The other factions rejected a corresponding request from the FPÖ in the Constitutional Committee of the National Council on Thursday. This means that the original proposal by ÖVP MP Wolfgang Gerstl to hold an expert hearing on this question is finally off the table.
