The decree, published in this Wednesday’s edition of the Official Gazette (11), was signed by and responds to a request from Nunes.
According to the text, police officers can provide “assistance and advice” to the mayor and secretaries.
To Panel, the mayor stated that the presence of the Civil Police will guarantee agility for Smart Sampa actions, one of the main banners of his management.
According to the decree, the consultancy must carry out measures to support the fulfillment of the institutional missions of the Nunes administration and assist the city hall in researching the Civil Police databases.
The police team may also accompany members of the city hall, at the mayor’s request, to carry out measures that may result in a police report.
