Defense awaits new report to request Bolsonaro’s house arrest, says Flávio

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) stated on Saturday (14) that the defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) is awaiting the preparation of a new medical report to again request the Court to grant house arrest. The statement was made after visiting the father, admitted to the DF Star Hospital, in Brasília.

According to Flávio, the request will be based on the recent worsening of the health situation and the need for continuous monitoring. He said that, although Bolsonaro is “very well treated” where he is in custody, he spends long periods alone, which would pose a risk due to the side effects of medications and possible medical emergencies.

“He spends a lot of time during the day alone, which is our concern. He becomes unbalanced due to the side effect of the medicine he takes to try to contain the hiccups, has an accident, and then someone takes a while to find him,” he said.
