The meat melts in your mouth and goes perfectly with the distinctive cheese and the aroma of white wine and thyme. You can serve this dish with mashed potatoes or Silesian dumplings. Don’t forget about the salad, you can choose cabbage or beetroot. I’m sure everyone will eat it with gusto.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 600 g boneless pork loin,
  • 150 g of smoked cheese,
  • 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt,
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil (+ for frying),
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar,
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme,
  • salt, pepper (to taste),
  • 50 ml of dry white wine,
  • 25 ml of water.

Divide the meat into 4 cutlets. Gently (preferably through a sheet of food foil) crush them with a pestle. Sprinkle each cutlet with salt and pepper.

Mix yogurt, oil, vinegar and thyme rubbed in your hands in a bowl. Spread the marinade over the cutlets. Place them in the fridge for at least an hour.

Divide the smoked cheese into 4 equal sticks. Wrap them tightly (like croquettes – with pleats at the edges) in cutlets heated to room temperature.

Briefly fry the cutlets in a small amount of oil. First place them in the pan with the “tab” side down so that they do not unfold while frying.

Transfer the cutlets to an ovenproof dish. Pour wine and water into the hot pan in which they were fried. Collect the remaining meat with a spatula and mix with the liquid (deglaze). Pour the resulting sauce onto the rolls.

Put the rolls in the oven preheated to 180°C. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

You can serve smoked cheese rolls immediately. They are even better when reheated the next day. Serve them with your chosen additions and your favorite dip.
